my MId Term Holiday....!!!

A lot of fun during my holiday even I can't go back home early because I had to settled the PTPTN,, After that my family and I went to KFC for dinner,,We went to Kajang, Selangor, where my grand's house are there,,we were going there because my uncle, Malik is getting his wedding on Tuesday, Jan 27, with her wife, Aunts Ayu,,Besides that, I'm very excited because I met my little cute sister, Farhana and my eldest brother too,,On Monday, Jan 26, I had packing the candies, bunga telur and bunga rampai,,(goog niece huhuhu..:D)but I've got jealousy when Uncle Malik took my brother and cousin to the cinema,,huh,,Its okey,,I can go there next time even at Segamat doesn't have it,,with ma fwenz mybe,,The next day after my uncle's wedding, my family and I went to Jay Bee, our home sweet home,,I'm not going anywhere and just get some relaxes at home,,My friend, Zarina was going to her college early ,so, I can't meet her for this time,,

SummArY oF cHapTer 3, Basic Aplication Software

In this chapter, I had discussed about common features of most software application. Application software have two categories that are basic applications and specialized applications. The common features of most application programs including Microsoft Office 2003 are user interface, windows, menus, dialog box and toolbars. I also had discussed the word processors which the most widely used are Microsoft Word, Corel WordPerfect, and Lotus Word Pro, and word processing features. Next, I had described spreadsheets that are used to organize, analyze, and graph numeric data, and its features. I also had discussed the database management systems which is a collection of related data, and its features. On the same time, I had described the presentation graphics combine a variety of visual objects to create attractive, visually interesting presentation, and its features that include slides, AutoContent wizard, design templates and master slide. I had discussed intergrated software. Lastly, I had described software suites, a collection of individual application packages sold together that have four types; productivity suite, personal suite, specialized suite and utility suite.

sUMmARY of ChaPter 2, The Internet , The Web and Electronic Commerce

In this chapter I had discussed about the origins of the Internet and the Web and five common uses of the Internet and Web that are communicating, shopping, searching, entertainmet and education or e-learning. Then, I had described how to access the Web using providers ( the most widely used commercial Internet service providers are national service providers and wireless service providers; and browsers are programs that provide access to Web resources. I also had discussed about the Internet communications, including e-mail,instant messaging (IM) and social networking. At the same time, I also had described search tools, including search engines (yahoo!, AOL Search, google), metasearch engines (dogpile, search, Web Meta Search), and specialized search engines. Next, I had discussed the electronic commerce include B2C, C2C, B2B, and security issues. Lastly, I had described these Web utilities that are Web-based application, FTP, plug-ins, filters, Internet security suite.

SUMMARY OF CLASS

Last Wednesday, January 7, 2009, I had learned CS119 subject. It is about Information Technology, the Internet and You. What I have got was the five parts of an information system that are people, procedures, software, hardware and data. I learned about the two major kinds of software, three kinds of system software programs and also the difference between basic and specialized application software. Next, I had identified the four types of computers that are supercomputers, mainframe computers, minicomputers and microcomputers. Beside, I also described the four types of microcomputer and the four basic categories of microcomputer hardware including the system unit, input/output, secondary storage, and communication. The next part of information system is data. I had described the four common types of files including document files, worksheet files, database files and presentation files like Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Publisher, etc. The last part is connectivity, the wireless revolution, and the Internet. In this part, I had defined the connectivity, network, and wireless revolution and further on, the Internet and Web. Lastly, I know all the careers in IT and its description of each career.
